Moor Park Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this committment.

We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding committment, including our Child Protection Policy. All our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policies have been reviewed and updated to ensure they are in line with the most recent goverment guidence published in September 2016.

Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child's welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with his/her parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child's welfare.

We actively support the Government's Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.

If you with to talk to someone in school about safeguarding, please contact our Designated Teacher Amanda Parton, the Deptuy Gareth Kirkpatrick or the Head Teacher Joanne Magson.

We have been focusing on CSE and keeping chidlren safe on-line recently and feel that this link is particually good at supporting you in doing this.
