Seated Fencing Y6
We had lots of fun this afternoon challenging each other to some seated fencing matches. The children have enjoyed the Sport 4 Champions programme delivered by Sport Blackpool this half term.
Silver Sword Writing

Toys interview
This week we have been learning about old toys. We have written questions and then interviewed Nana Roberts about the toys she played with when she was little. We found out lots of interesting information.

Year 3 Iron Man Art
We worked together to make the different body parts of the Iron Man using junk modelling and silver paper, then we joined them together. We really enjoyed making him!
We also created our own Iron Man collages.
Collaborative Learning in Maths
We are using protractors in Maths this week and some people are finding it a bit of a struggle. We used the visualiser to support our learning and with some collaboration and a bit of peer coaching, most of us have begun to climb out of the learning pit!
A Climbing Challenge for Year 2

Climbing wall Y6
On Friday, we were fortunate to have a mobile climbing wall visit school as part of our Sport for Champions programme. It was very chilly but we all enjoyed it and had a great time and challenged ourselves to be brave learners! Well done to those of you who made it to the top!
Science at Montgomery
On Monday Year 6 went to Montgomery for some specialist science teaching about light. We were able to use the labs and enjoy some hands on practical activities.
