In Year 3 we have started reading The Iron Man by Ted Hughes.  We are enjoying it so much that it inspired us to create our own chalk pictures of the Iron Man.

We have had a sporty start to the week. We started on Monday with a taster session with Mr Basketball, we learnt lots of new skills and even got to shoot some hoops.

Year 4 made their own digestive systems to demonstrate the way that food is digested and absorbed by the body. They all enjoyed the final outcome...poo! 

We had a fantastic time making our Christingles and finding out why they are important to Christians at Christmas.

Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed their taster session with Mr Basketball today. It was fast paced and lots of fun. The children are all really keen to join the basketball club now. We were really impressed with your skills children, maybe we have some basketball stars in the making...!

There will be a meeting on Wednesday 18th January about KS2 sats. This will provide the opportunity to view sample papers and ask questions. We look forward to seeing you there.

Reception had so much fun at their Christmas Party this year with DJ Kellet.

We worked in groups of 4. We were given one large piece of paper, scissors and glue. The challenge was to make the longest paper chain.

This afternoon we have taken part in the 'paper chain challenge'. We only had one piece of paper and hadn't to make the longest chain we could. We used lots of different ideas to try and make ours the longest. 

We had a very busy week last week, we performed our Christmas aalphabet for the school and our mums and dads. We also had our Christmas party with DJ Kellett
