We have been so busy this week. Yesterday we continued to learn new gymnastics skills, including a forward roll. We also used the computers to generate our calendars. Miss Morris was very proud of us for our teamwork too. 

All the children in Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 were treated to a visit from Spellbinder. We really enjoyed listening to Spellbinder tell us enchanting stories and loved singing and dancing along to the Christmas songs.

He took us on a magical journey with a russian granny, Rudolf and ofcourse Father Christmas.

Reception were given the challenge of making their own snowmen and snowdogs this week! They could only use materials found in their classroom and there were some very inventive ideas.

The children used red cabbage as an indicator for testing whether a chemical is an acid or an alkali. The children used common household liquids to determine which poison killed old King Hamlet. We decided to run this activity as a CSI Investigation.

On Monday the children enjoyed exploring and investigating ice in the ice tray.
