As part of our topic on Bones and Bodies we have been learning about nutrition and healthy eating.  We used our designing and making skills to create a healthy meal for an astronaut. It was great fun! 

Year 2 had a lovely visit from the firemen. We learnt what to do if there was a fire at home and the importance of making sure the batteries work in our smoke alarms. 

On Friday Bispham fire station visited school. We were treated to a tour of the engine and now know about all the different tools that the engine carries. We also talked about keeping safe and what to do if you discover a fire.
