Our school meal options are:

School Meal - Our catering staff prepare a variety of cooked meals daily for children who are on school dinners. This is eaten in the dining hall nearby the kitchen.

Below is our current menus:

Week 1           Week 2           Week 3

Packed Lunch - Children can bring a packed lunch to school which they also will eat in the dining hall.

As we try to encourage healthy eating, packed lunches should not contain sweets and chocolate should be limited to one small bar/biscuit. We also do not allow any products containing nuts as it can cause severe allergies to some children. Drinks are to be in an unbreakable plastic flask and we do not allow fizzy or canned drinks. We also encourage our children to drink more water so we suggest filling their drinks bottles with water rather than juice. Packed lunch boxes and drinks bottles should be labelled clearly with your child's name.

At Moor Park Primary, we use a company called P&A for our school meals. P&A were formed in 1998 and have developed a reputation for great food and a first class service.Their food passion is shared by everyone in the company. A desire to deliver innovative food and service to the highest standard is the driving force behind everything they do. Driven to deliver excellence, everyone at P&A is committed to providing the best possible service, to every customer, on every occasion. P&A only use the best ingredients from suppliers who treasure their ingredients as much as their chefs do. They also support fair purchasing and always buy local produce whenever possible.

All children are supervised by our TA's and Welfare staff throughout lunchtime. All Key Stage 1 children (Reception, Year 1, & Year 2) are entitled to universal free school meals every day as a result of DfE funding but children can choose to be on packed lunch instead if they want to.

Moor Park Primary like to promote healthy eating therefore there is a fresh salad bar available every day for school dinners. Our TA's and Welfare staff supervise the children's eating and like to encourage them to visit the salad bar when collecting their dinner from the kitchen.
