We admit children into our Reception classes when their 5th birthday falls between 1st September and 31st August of a particular academic year.
You must apply for a place using this link if you live in Blackpool (i.e. if you pay your council tax to Blackpool or receive housing benefit from Blackpool Council ).
The closing date for applications for children starting school in September 2024 is Monday 15th January 2024.The National Offer Day for Reception places for September 2024 is Tuesday 16th April 2024.
If you have recently moved to the area or wish for your child to join during the school year you can find all the relevant information on Blackpool Council's website which can be accessed here: New to Area or wishing to transfer schools (blackpool.gov.uk). School can be contacted directly and we will happily explain the application process and arrange an opportunity to view the school. As we are a community school, we have no set admission requirements other than we have a limit of 30 per class, if we are full the oversubscribed criteria below will apply. Should you have any questions about this, please contact our Acting Deputy Headteachers, Mrs H Jefferson and Mrs J Rhodes on 01253 353034, who will be able to help.
The Admission Number is the number of pupils that the Local Authority can admit into each school. Priority is always given to parental preference, however, when there are more preferences than there are places available, the Authority follows its over-subscription criteria to determine which children should be allocated a place at that school.
