We had an easter egg hunt in our garden. We worked in pairs and had to work out the clues in order to win a prize.

One of our boys from Year 6 attended an awards evening at Blackpool Sixth Form College.

He was awarded a certificate and a trophy for his nomination of KS2 Scientist 2017.

We used our sawing skills to make the base of our lantern and our science knowledge to build a working circuit. We are so proud of our finished products.

We met Kelvin Mellor. He is one of Blackpool Football Club's defenders. We were able to ask him lots of questions about life as a footballer. We all got his autograph and had our picture taken with him. It was so much fun.

The children have been working very hard practicing their independent writing skills this half term and were so proud of the progress they are all making! They are becoming very confident young writers and it is lovely to their creativity coming through in their writing.
