We thought of questions about rocks that we would like to find the answers to. Both classes worked together on a Rocks Fact Treasure Hunt. Mrs Jefferson and Miss Cooper hid the answers to our questions round the Y3 area and we had to find the answers. It was great…

3HJ and 3AC enjoyed working together to write some excellent complex sentences. They are now experts at using main and subordinate clauses - well done!

We have been working hard using number lines to help us with our multiplication. There has been lots of peer coaching and collaborative learning! 

The children from 3HJ and 5NT are thoroughly enjoying working together as reading buddies.

We travelled along apparatus, balanced and dismounted.

We were balancing on different parts of our bodies. 

Year 3 were fantastic at drawing and making models of the elbow joint. They could explain how muscles work together to make our arms bend 

Balances in gymnastics 

We've been using apparatus to show the value of the digits in three digit numbers and adding 10 to a given number.

Look at our fantastic skeletons. We demonstrated our knowledge of the human skeleton by creating some from dog biscuits.  

We have been enjoying reading and writing about The Highway Rat by Julia Donaldson and today we performed it for our parents.
