On Thursday morning the children arrived to find some crumbs left from a very special visitor.
The Gingerbread man had been and he had left a lot of his crumbly friends behind!
We got out our magnifying glasses and searched the classroom for clues. The children found crumbs from the door into the classroom leading all the way outside. They suspected he had been on the run and stopped off in our classroom for a little play and safe keeping. We checked the CCTV and it turns out the Gingerbread Man had a lot of his friends with him and they were all on the run... possibly lookijng to escape from a sneaky fox.
This was all very exciting and led the children on to lots of further enquiry, they searched the school the find the Gingerbread man and his friends, they wrote him letters and thought of lot of questions they could ask him.
