This week Tina, a local artist, came to school to work with us on a project about 'Isolation and Loneliness'.  We all created a postcard that will support people who are feeling lonely in our community.

This week in reception we have been celebrating 'Spooky Week'!

We have been continuing with our Bear Grylls' missions!  We have worked in teams to transport supplies accross the ravine, travelled accross dangerous ground whilst carrying all of our supplies, made a shelter for the night to protect us from the storm and finally designed transportation to get us…

Hands on animals came to visit Year 6 this week. We had an amazing time handling bugs, insects and other animals. We had to be very brave and we learned a lot of interesting facts. 

At the end of each school day the children come together to take part in our daily dough disco! The children love exercising their fingers wriggling, pinching, squeezing and prodding their dough with tom thumb, ruby ring and baby small! Not only are the children getting ready to write exercising…

To end our topic 'Hunted', we invited parents in to school for an afternoon of fun!  We worked together to make a pouch for Bear grylls using our design.  Then we showcased our skills in teamwork, co-operation and problem solving to complete two of the Comando Joe missions.
