The children have been engaging in lots of child-initiated activities these past few weeks as they are thoroughly enjoying the new topics 'Animals' and 'Dinosaurs'. We have been doing lots of research on the internet to create fact files, 'googling' questions and watching videos of the animals 'in-action'!
We also loved thinking of different ways to measure the bones we found in the outside area. The children got very creative and even decided to figure how tall a giraffe was using each other as non-standard measurements!
In the coming week's we are hoping to have a few animal visitors in the classroom to see if we can find out more information about the mysterious creatures that live in our world!
