Remembrance Service
On Saturday, our leadership team visited Bispham's Arboretum for a remembrance service. They laid a wreath and took part in the service to remember those who have suffered due to conflict all around the world.
Leopard Geckos in Year 6
In our topic about adaptation and survival, we have been considering how animals change over time. Mrs Taylor brought her Leopard Geckos to school to show us how they shed their skin as they grow.
Sports For Champions
This week, we started our 'Sports for Champions' program. We played team games with our leaders and enjoyed learning new skills.
Hello Again
David came to visit us this week! It was great to see him and hear all about his school in Germany. We think he's really lucky because he doesn't have to wear a uniform; Mrs Taylor thinks the teachers are really lucky because there are only 20 children in his class!
Beautiful Baby!
Mrs Baker paid us a visit on Tuesday this week, with her beautiful baby, Harry George. We are learning about human life cycles and it was lovely to meet Harry properly and learn how much he has changed and grown since he was born less than 6 months ago.

Super Spellbinder
What a treat we've all had this afternoon! Our friend, Spellbinder, came to visit and entertain us with his captivating tales and songs! A wonderful afternoon - thank you Spellbinder! Friends Forever.
Sharing Shakespeare
We are learning about the Shakespeare play "The Tempest". In groups we improvised dialogue and actions to bring a scene of the play to life. We had great fun whilst learning about the play at the same time!
Collaborative Learning in Maths
We are using protractors in Maths this week and some people are finding it a bit of a struggle. We used the visualiser to support our learning and with some collaboration and a bit of peer coaching, most of us have begun to climb out of the learning pit!
Papier-mâché
After learning about our solar system, we are now designing and creating our own planets! Watch this space to view our progress!
