Year 2 were selected to take part in the Blackpool Marvels and Mayhem project. We started the week with a visit from storyteller Emily who told us a fascinating story about the Tower Circus long ago. We learnt about some amazing acts who would have performed at the circus. The children and staff were mesmerised! We went back to our classrooms to write postcards about our visit to the circus. 

Today we had a workshop with Tina who helped us to create some of the artwork which will be on display at Stanley Park for this weekends Wordpool event. We helped to make bunting, audience members, stars, signs and Jenny the elephant who will be turned into a game. 

We really enjoyed ourselves.
