Kung Hei Fat Choi

This week the children have been learning about Chinese New Year and they have really enjoyed it!
They held their own chinese restaurant, made dragons and wrote menus for their friends.
Later on in the week they tasted chinese food - the sweet and sour sauce and prawn crackers were a big hit! 
The children then went on to perform a dragon dance for their friends making lots of noise on the playground!

It has been a great week of learning and discussing cultures and traditions that are different to our own.
