Autumn is Here... 

Autumn arrived in reception last week and the children loved investigating the season! They went on an Autumn walk on Monday, looking for different autumn objects and discussed the difference between Summer and Autumn. We then went back to the classroom and began sorting the objects we found, observing them closely under magnifying glasses and using them to help is with our understanding of shape. The boys loved making an Autumn forest in the playdough! It was all very exciting. 

Next week in reception it is 'Spooky Week', there will be some strange things happening...
