I have a little poppy, 

as red and red can be,

to show that I remember

those who fought to make me free.

 

To mark the 100 year anniversary of the end of WW1, we spent some time discussing Remembrance and the symbol of the poppy. Every child from Year 3 and Year 4 created their own poppy using a range of designs including origami, string patterns and sponge printing.
