The children in Year 6 have been studying Shakespeare's Text 'Hamlet' and have thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our theme for our displays at Christmas was 'A Shakespearean Winter' and we focussed on the castle at Elsinore, Denmark. The children chose their own media and produced a piece of art work and also thoroughly enjoyed it. What a creative end to the term it was!

Their written work, which is displayed on the walls, was in response to reading Hamlet -  the children wrote in role as a sentinel on duty when the ghost of old King Hamlet appeared.

Well done Year 6, let's hope that you enjoy The Silver Sword as much in January.
